EY joins EAI

The Electricity Association of Ireland (EAI) is delighted to welcome EY Ireland to its membership. The professional services firm recently joined EAI as an associate member.

EAI CEO Owen Wilson said:

“We’re thrilled to have EY on board. The firm joins our growing number of associate members and is a key industry stakeholder.”

EY Ireland Partner Ian Venner said:

“We are delighted to be associated with EAI. This opportunity will allow us to continue our investment in the energy sector, while also contributing to the growth of Ireland’s economy. The sector is delivering a significant contribution against a challenging backdrop as firms are required to strike a balance between three main areas of energy policy: security, sustainability and affordability. The challenge in balancing these objectives continues to increase in complexity in the face of economic and environmental pressures. EY is working with many organisations to help them achieve sustainable growth.”

EY has previously assisted EAI in preparing the 2015 report, ‘Powering the economy: a new energy focus’, which examined the contribution of the Irish energy sector to the island’s economy.

EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services.
