EAI welcomed the opportunity to respond to this important consultation on Ireland’s security of supply review. EAI emphasised the need to maintain investment into renewables and pushed for an increase of pace in introducing offshore wind to the market through the first offshore RESS auction. Furthering this, the EAI response details the need for a hydrogen economy to be developed in order to meet targets beyond 2030.
